Chone Figgins officially a Mariner

The Mariners finally announced the four-year Chone Figgins deal. No word yet on a conference call with Figgins or anything like that. Seattle also is not confirming the amount of money paid, citing club policy, but we’ll get that for you shortly and try to figure out how much has been committed to him for 2010 and what the budget looks like going forward.
So, that takes care of third base.
We’ll assume that Figgins bats second while Ichiro stays at leadoff. The team is heavily leaning in that direction.
