Brandon Morrow getting bunch of calls, texts, but none to tell him he’s been traded

Just got off the phone with Brandon Morrow, who says he’s yet to be contacted by the Mariners or Blue Jays to tell him he’s been traded to Toronto. That doesn’t necessarily mean anything, since players are often the last to know anything in these situations.
“I’ve been getting a bunch of texts and calls from people telling me about the internet stuff,” he said. “But that’s all I’ve heard.”
A Twitter message sent out by Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports says Morrow has been traded to Toronto in exchange for Brandon League and a minor league prospect. I’ve covered League before and while he was once considered a future closer in waiting, that was some time ago.
In other words, that prospect would appear to be the key to any deal.
