Thanks for tuning in. Once again, our poll results:
Who would you vote for in your media bracket?
Geoff Baker — 73 percent
Mike Salk — 13 percent
Mitch Levy — 13 percent
The leftover change in the percentages equals about 1 percent so we’re just rounding off. Amazing how it works out when you’re the host of the poll. We’ll find out from Brock and Salk tomorrow at 11 a.m. Pacific time whether or not I advanced beyond Round 1 of the media bracket challenge.
Hey, I did better than the M’s did at their annual golf tournament with the Padres today at the Raven Golf Club at Verrado in Buckeye, Ariz.
The Padres won it with a 60.
The Mariners team (Mark Lowe, Jason Vargas, Shawn Kelley and Sean White) placed second at 61.
In third place was the team of Howard Lincoln (CEO), Rick Griffin (head trainer), Rob Nodine (trainer) and Ron Spellecy (travelling secretary) at 62.
