Season’s greetings to all: a glimpse back to the past

Not much going on with the Mariners this holiday season. A good time to take a look back and reflect on where things have come. Earlier this week, we showed you our most viewed replay of the Geoff Baker Live! show from 2010 — the one with Bill James as a special guest.
Here’s another interesting one from the past: our very first pilot show from spring training of 2009, almost two years ago. Don’t forget, the Mariners were coming off a 101-loss season and heading into 2009 with a new front office and coaching staff. Interesting to hear all the different player names mentioned — most of which are no longer with Seattle. Some of the predictions were bang-on, others completely off. Always interesting to take a look back before you try to look ahead.
Hope you enjoy it. And I wish you all the very best this holiday season. Can’t wait to start opening presents any minute now!
