Around the Blogosphere

We’ll start this morning’s segment off with a look at The Platoon Advantage blog on the ESPN Sweet Spot network. On their latest post, The Common Man takes a look at the 40 Worst Off-Seasons in MLB history and has the Mariners 2009-2010 version ranked at No. 25.
Over at Pro Ball NW, they are in disagreement over the ranking.

Pro Ball NW author Jon Shields states that while the Mariners hardly had a good off-season, it was not awful on an historical level. Shields suggests there were several unforseen factors in the M’s downfall and that not enough time has elapsed yet to make a definitive conclusion about the impact that off-season had on the future of the team.
Over at Seattle Sports Insider, they take a look at the release of the Baseball HQ Minor League Baseball Analyst handbook and shine the spotlight on its conclusions about Mariners minor league pitcher Erasmo Ramirez.
At Mariner Central, Lonnie gives us a breakdown on Mariners minor league pitcher Blake Beaven, one of the returns in the Cliff Leenercentra trade.
Finally, at Lookout Landing, they run a poll asking how far Mariner fans would be willing to go if Albert Pujols became available to the M’s.
