Thanks for tuning in, folks. Not a lot of on-field stuff for the M’s today, but still plenty to talk about. A viewer asked whether I thought the M’s are prepared to hand Jack Wilson the starting shortstop job. I gave a detailed answer, including where Brendan Ryan fits in the team’s future plans. Somebody asked me what I thought of Wilson starting at second base instead of shortstop. Here’s my answer.
Another viewer thought it might be a good idea for Jack Cust to jokingly grab Ichiro’s jersey during the annual shuttle run the way Ken Griffey Jr. once did. I gave my two cents worth on that suggestion.
Someone asked whether the M’s could possibly supply more offense, or whether fans are stuck with what they saw last year. Here’s my answer to that.
There was a question about whether the M’s are just trying to get by this year in order to stockpile cash for next season.
