M’s cut two more

The Mariners announced two more cuts Sunday morning, with right-handed pitcher Blake Beavan being reassigned to minor-league camp and right-handed pitcher Yoervis Medina optioned to Class A High Desert.
Beavan, one of the players obtained from Texas in the Cliff Lee trade, started Saturday’s game against Okaland. He worked three innings, giving up one run. For the spring, he had a 6.43 ERA in seven innings.
Medina, 22, gave up three hits and two runs in his only inning of work in the Cactus League..
