See video of Michael Pineda throwing in minor league game yesterday

The sun is out this morning, so we shouldn’t have any more issues like yesterday, where the Cactus League game was washed out. Just prior to the rain really getting bad yesterday, Michael Pineda took the mound versus the Omaha Storm Chasers, a Class AAA affiliate for the Kansas City Royals.

I’ve focused on some of his dealings with left-handed hitters in the video. There was also one final strikeout versus a righty that I included as well.
On one play you’ll see him get a double-play grounder to first base. On another, shortstop Carlos Triunfel makes an error on what should have been a groundout. You’ll also see an RBI single off Pineda. on the strikeout, catcher Steve Baron does a good job of holding on to a foul tip.
