Great show with some of our new features. Thanks for hanging in there.
As you saw, we got manager Eric Wedge down on the field right after the game and I asked him about the decision to cut left-hander Royce Ring. Wedge replied that it simply came down to the team needing more guys who could give them multiple innings instead of one or two batters at a time.
That makes you wonder, what are the chances of Tom Wilhelmsen making the team? He’s on the roster, has worked multiple innings this spring and can throw 98 mph. What a story. Here’s a look at that subject.
Somebody asked me about Michael Pineda and whether he’d done enough to be named the team’s fifth starter.
Oh yeah, and you knew this was coming. Somebody asked me for my honest assessment of what I think of the team so far. Hide the kids.
