Mariners finally catch some breaks, salvage series finale

The Mariners had spent this entire series looking for a break or two and finally got some on offense, getting some timely hits to pull off a 3-2 comeback victory over the Kansas City Royals.
They got an RBI triple by Milton Bradley, a two-run single from Brendan Ryan and then a blown call by the umpire at first base when the Royals were trying to get a rally going. Michael Pineda allows a run on three hits over six innings, Jamey Wright tosses two scoreless and Brandon League barely survives the ninth inning — allowing a run — to pick up the save.
