Mariners finally get some offense, pull game out in 10th

We’ve been telling you that, since late-April, the Mariners had been 16-2 when scoring at least four runs. That mark seemed in trouble tonight after that tying homer by Carlos Quentin in the eighth.
But the M’s scored three in the 10th to pull it out 7-4.
Miguel Olivo was the big hero with that two-run double down the left field line. Olivo later scored on a suicide squeeze bunt by Franklin Gutierrez.

Brandon League came on to notch the save. The only two games in the last 19 in which the M’s scored at least four but failed to win came on blown saves by League.
Not tonight.
The offense delivered.
