Ichiro back in at leadoff; Jack Cust out for third time in four days

This is getting a little serious for Jack Cust. He looked rusty in going 0-for-4 last night and now finds himself back on the bench in favor of Mike Carp.
A few more weeks like this for Cust and, well, he’s only on a one-year deal here. He’s got two home runs in nearly 2 1/2 months and has to get it going.
Won’t be doing that tonight with Carp back in there.
Ichiro finds himself at the leadoff spot once again.

Chone Figgins is back to the No. 8 position while Greg Halman takes over in center for Franklin Gutierrez, who had a blooped double last night but otherwise did not look very good swinging the bat.
Eric Wedge said he’s going to have to find two guys to sit each night if he’s to get the trip of Carp, Carlos Peguero and Greg Halman in there. All three are in at the same time tonight, Halman in center and Peguero in left.
