Raul Ibanez here tonight; Jose Lopez next weekend?

It’s been a couple of weeks, but we’ll have Geoff Baker Live! again tonight at 6:10 p.m. PT from FX McRory’s.
For those who missed it, we’ll see the return of Raul Ibanez to Safeco Field with the Philadelphia Phillies tonight. Ibanez was always a class act when here, so hopefully he gets a warm reception from fans.
Ibanez is scuffling somewhat in the final year of his contract, hitting .242 with a .700 on-base-plus-slugging percentage and eight home runs. At age 39, this weekend could be his final visit to Seattle. Unless, of course, these clubs meet in the Worl…nah, forget I said that.
Speaking of returns, Jose Lopez was called up from Class AAA by the Florida Marlins a couple of nights ago.

Lopez was released last month by the Colorado Rockies. The Marlins visit the Mariners next weekend and Florida manager Edwin Rodriguez www.google.com
plans to play the 27-year-old on a regular basis at third base.
That means, we should see Lopez back at Safeco.
Lopez is 1-for-6 with a double his first two games with the Marlins.
