Mariners shake up lineup, put Jack Cust at DH and Greg Halman in left field…and that Ackley guy hits third

Mariners manager Eric Wedge said last night he’d keep trying different lineups to get this offense going. And he wasn’t kidding.
No Carlos Peguero in there tonight versus right hander Ervin Santana. Instead, we get Greg Halman in left.
And no Adam Kennedy either. It’s Jack Cust getting another turn at DH.
And Dustin Ackley? He’s now up to No. 3 in the order. That’s where you want your best hitter and — three weeks into his career — that’s what he is.
Interesting. Another roll of the dice at a lineup attempt. Wedge will hope to get something better than snake eyes with this one.
