Mariners at Minnesota Twins: Sept. 22, 2011 game thread

The Mariners don’t get to sweep teams very often, but will attempt just that this morning with Blake Beavan taking the mound. Beavan looked good his last time out in taking down his hometown Texas Rangers and let’s face it — his Minnesota Twins opponents today are decisively lesser in talent and results. At least, with the product they’ve put on the field lately.
Kyle Seager is back at third base, with Luis Rodriguez getting a start at shortstop. Justin Smoak will serve as the DH once again.
