See Ichiro take batting practice in Mariners camp with new, wider stance

We’ve all heard about Ichiro’s new, wider batting stance. Now, you can see him taking some swings outdoors with it. Ichiro just completed his batting practice session within the past hour at Mariners spring training.

There was quite a crowd on-hand to see him. Now, you can as well, in the video above.

Some other news to pass along includes the list of pitchers who are scheduled to participate in the team’s first intra-squad game tomorrow at 11:45 a.m. PT.
Team 1:
Jason Vargas (2 innings)
Shawn Camp
Oliver Perez
Aaron Heilman
Steve Delabar
Charlie Furbush
Chance Ruffin
Team 2
Danny Hultzen
Taijuan Walker
James Paxton
Shawn Kelley
Hong-Chih Kuo
Cesar Jimenez
Erasmo Ramirez
Lucas Luetge
All except Vargas are slated to work an inning each. Should be a lot of interest when the Team 2 guys take the mound, for obvious reasons.
