Young pitching highlights from today’s Mariners intra-squad affair

You’ve read about today’s intra-squad game the Mariners played and about the young starting pitching prospects who got their feet wet.
Now, you can see some of them in action in the video above.


We’ve only got two minutes as per MLB rules, so we’ve tried to show you a sampling of Danny Hultzen, Taijuan Walker, James Paxton and Erasmo Ramirez so you can get your fix.
Also, there’s the Chone Figgins walk drawn in his first leadoff appearance off Hultzen.
Oh yeah, that Jason Vargas guy retired the seven batters he faced and struck out four of them. We’ve got the first of those strikeouts right up top.
