Mariners under lights tonight

Probably worth a reminder for anyone coming here and expecting some news that the Mariners are now in a stretch of three straight days where they play their main game under the lights.
Tonight, Seattle plays the Royals in Peoria at 7:05 p.m. That doesn’t mean nothing is happening during the day — Jason Vargas will pitch in a minor league game at noon, and there will be B games and split-squad games the next two days, as well, as the Mariners try to get as much action in as they can before setting the roster for the Japan trip.
For now, with a little lull in the proceedings, here are a few morning links. …
— I should have posted this earlier, but Larry Stone wrote about the Mariners announcing on Tuesday that they lost $7.3 million in 2011.
— Larry also wrote a piece on his blog examining whether the spring training offensive barrage will mean anything in the long run.
— Here’s my story recapping Tuesday’s action and Hector Noesi’s attempt to break into the rotation.
— Here’s our final story on the unveiling of the commercials.
— Hope you’re checking out the Take Two blog, which has all kinds of good Mariner-related stuff produced by students at Arizona State University.
