Mariners beat Brewers, 6-1

Seattle is off to a 1-0 start on this double-header day, beating the Brewers 6-1 in Tucson.
Here’s the box score, and as you can see it was a completely dominating performance by Felix Hernandez, who allowed just one hit and a walk while striking out six in six shutout innings.
The Mariners also pounded out 13 hits, three each by Dustin Ackley and Alex Liddi. All of Ackley’s were doubles while Liddi also hit a 2-run homer.
Seattle is now 11-4-1 in the Cactus League and has outscored foes 104-77. Hernandez is now 2-1 on the spring allowing just two runs in 13 innings.
Now for the other half of the team, it’s on to Phoenix where the Mariners will play the A’s at 7:05 p.m.
