Replay of last night’s show on Sports Radio KJR talking about Safeco Field, fences, catching, travel and more

Here is the podcast of last night’s baseball show that I played host to on Sports Radio KJR. We discussed the team’s home road splits this season and in the past, gave a rundown on what to look for when trying to grade catcher defense and also talked a bit about the M’s travel situation.
You heard me mention some of the research that Sports Radio KJR producer Kevin Shockey had done on the home/road splits. Here is the link to that. Keep in mind, the stats are two weeks old.
Finally, here is the story I did for this morning’s paper on the Safeco Field hitting issue. Talked it up a bit on the show last night. Hope you all enjoy.

Why are the Mariners hitting so much worse at Safeco Field than on the road?
