Mariners win on a 3-2 walkoff in bottom of the ninth

John Jaso hit a bases loaded sacrifice fly (photo above) in the bottom of the ninth off Casey Fien to deliver a 3-2 win to the Mariners over the Minnesta Twins.
Seattle’s fourth straight win did not involve a classic ninth inning rally. Michael Saunders opened with a single, then took second as Justin Morneau held on to a Brendan Ryan bunt too long and allowed everyone to be safe.
A walk to Dustin Ackley loaded the bases and then Fien came on to face pinch-hitter Jaso, who worked the count full, then drove a ball to left field. There was no way the throw in would beat the fast-running Saunders, so, the M’s, trailing in the seventh, get the victory.

Tom Wilhelmsen picks up the win, having retired Josh Willingham with the bases loaded to end the top of the ninth.
