Mariners’ lineups vs. Texas Rangers in Surprise
Mike Zunino gets his second straight start for the Mariners, this time as the designated hitter. Speaking of which, Lance Berkman will be the DH for the Rangers — and hit leadoff. Of his 1,806 major-league games, Berkman has started one as the leadoff man, but the Rangers want him to get as many at-bats as he can after a late start to Cactus League games.
Michael Saunders starts in center for the Mariners in his last game for awhile. He takes off afterwards to join Team Canada in the World Baseball Classic. They’ll be training in Glendale, down the road.
