Lineups for Mariners vs. Dodgers, and B game vs.Padres

The Mariners are going to squeeze in a B game against the Padres this morning in Peoria before heading over to Glendale to face the Dodgers in the regularly scheduled games. That’s weather permitting, of course. It’s overcast, but they expect to get both games in. Yesterday’s rainout against the A’s necessitated the hastily arranged B games to ensure all the pitchers get their work in.

Interestingly, Dustin Ackley is hitting seventh against the Dodgers, as Eric Wedge continues to experiment with various configurations. Kyle Seager, who is hitting second, is hoping that his brother, Corey, the Dodgers’ first-round pick last year, will get to play. He’s in the minor-league camp but had been brought up for Friday’s game, which was rained out.
