FIRST INNING: Not a good start for Saunders. On two outs, Rangers right fielder Alex Rios singled a line drive to center field, batted in Elvis Andrus and Adrian Beltre. Ms three up, three down. Rangers 2, Mariners 0

SECOND INNING:
There was more action in the low-winds, 69-degree weather. No hits, no runs. Rangers 2, Mariners 0
THIRD INNING: Mariners capitalize on an error to get the bases loaded. Brad Miller hit a two-run single to left field to score Dustin Ackley and Justin Smoak. It’s a tie game. Rangers 2, Mariners 2.
FOURTH INNING: Rangers lead, again. Andrus hit a single into the right outfield pocket and two scored. Mariners manager Eric Wedge went to the mound to discuss but no changes made. On a 2-0 pitch, Kyle Seager homered deep to right field. His last home run was against Texas earlier this month. It’s Seager’s 20th homer of the season. Rangers 4, Mariners 3
FIFTH INNING: Swing and a miss. Rangers 4, Mariners 3
SIXTH INNING: No scores. Rangers 4, Mariners 3
SEVENTH INNING: On his first pitch with two outs,  A. J. Pierzynski homered on a fly ball to right field. Ian Kinsler and Adrian Beltre score. There are a lot of Rangers fans in the crowd of 15,995  and they went nuts. Mariners pitcher Yoervis Medina is on the mound now. Saunders threw 107 pitches with 58 strikes in seven innings. He gave up nine hits and seven runs with three walks, one homer and one hit batter. Rangers 7, Mariners 3
EIGHTH INNING: Another homer, another loss on the way for the Mariners. The sparse crowd is filing out of Safeco Field. Rangers 8, Mariners 3
NINTH INNING: Three up and three down in the bottom of the ninth for a Mariners wrap. Rangers’ Travis Blackley (2-1) is the winning pitcher. Rangers 8, Mariners 3
