Major League Baseball 2014 predictions from a group of so-called experts

We had our picks for the American League West and postseason picks in our Mariners’ season preview special section.  I didn’t really like my picks (for some reason I picked the M’s third in that).  I felt like we should have full season picks for all the divisions along with the postseason awards. But instead of sharing just my own picks, which I’m sure will be wrong. I decided to ask several people at the Seattle Times and a few of my other friends to make their picks as well. I was going to ask more people, but I didn’t have embarrassing photos to use of them. I figure by doing having others make picks I won’t be the only one who can be mocked when my picks are proven to be ludicrously dumb at the end of the season.

To steal a quote Lloyd McClendon: “I don’t think I’m smarter than anyone else, and I don’t think I’m dumber than anyone else.” So I got that going for me … which is nice.

Here’s some of the national writers’ predictions

Feel free to share you own or mock our picks
