Good morning!

Here’s the updated standings for the day. I’m sure some of you watched but the Tigers got a two-run homer from Miguel Cabrera and beat the Giants, 6-1, on Sunday night baseball.

The Mariners didn’t lose any ground on the A’s. Oakland had an awful loss with the bullpen walking the tying and go-ahead runs in the top of the ninth inning in a 4-3 loss to Houston.

Here’s the probables for the Astros series. Nick Tropeano will be making his first big league start in that game.

As for the rotation beyond that, McClendon said only that Felix Hernandez will start Saturday night. I think they’re still debating if they want to pitch Chris Young against the A’s after the brutal outing last week. It could be a situation where they pitch James Paxton on Friday night and bring back Roenis Elias for Sunday or even slide Taijuan Walker into that spot. We may have a decision on that by Tuesday.

**** For those interested, the 2015 schedule comes out today around 10 a.m. PST. The Mariners are playing the NL West in interleague play. So the travel should be a little less this year. Though I think they will have more three-city trips because of that. I will post it on here as soon as we get it.
