Another solid outing for Taijuan Walker in the Arizona Fall League

Taijuan Walker made his second start for the Surprise Saguaros of the Arizona Fall League. He was solid again, pitching five innings, giving up one run on two hits with two walks and six strikeouts. He threw 77 pitches.

Walker’s fastball sat 94-97 mph.

Patrick Kivlehan started at first base and went 1-for-3 with a walk. DJ Peterson started at third base and went 0-for-4 with a strikeout.

Reliever Matt Brazis pitched 1 1/3 innings, allowing one hit and striking out three.

On Sunday, Victor Sanchez made the start for Leones del Caracas in the Venezuelan Winter League. Sanchez pitched four innings, giving up three runs on two hits with four walks and five strikeouts in a 7-5 loss.

Ji-Man Choi had a hit and a stolen base in  a win for the Cardenales de Lara

Mayckol Guaipe pitched 2/3 of an inning, allowing a run in a loss for Caribes de Anzoategui
