Renee Erickson’s cel ebrated Boat Street Café on the Seattle waterfront is known for pickling Pacific Northwest produce in unique flavor combinations.
Now fans and foodies can take home some of this local flavor with Erickson’s new series of jarred condiments. Boat Street Pickles varieties include Pickled Raisins, with thyme and arbol chili; Pickled Figs, with red wine and balsamic vinegar; French Plums, with coriander; and, perhaps the star of the line, Pickled Apricots, with toasted curry.
All are produced in Seattle, and are sure to dress up a cheese plate or top an entrée or dessert. Serving suggestions are included.
