Eco chic: Plastic bottles become a perfect basic tee

By Bree Coven Brown / Special to Sunday Market

tshirt_0615_576Upgrade your basic summer tees with eco-friendly versions made in Seattle.

Rethink Fabrics’ high-quality T-shirts are made completely from plastic bottles recycled into polyester. Each shirt is printed on the inside with the number of bottles used: “You are wearing 14 plastic bottles.”

The high-tech fabric is soft, anti-microbial and moisture-wicking. The classic Eco White Tee, in styles for women and men, has flattering, clean lines.

At the end of its life, send your shirt back and it will be reborn as a new shirt — and you’ll get 10 percent off your next purchase.
