Kids’ shop: Toys are sculptures from nature

By Bree Coven Brown / Special to Sunday Market

Snooter-doots_0615_576Who would want a radish for a friend? You might when you see Snooter-doots — hand-knit stuffed creatures inspired by food and nature.

Each toy is made in Seattle from natural fibers such as alpaca, llama and wool. Oversize eyes infuse the vegetables and animals (and a few monsters) with personality.

Like Cabbage Patch Dolls, each Snooter-Doot has its own name and birthday and comes with an adoption certificate. They’re equally at home in the kids’ toy box or dressing up your couch.

Mini versions and finger puppets are also available.

$28–$56 at the MOHAI Gift Shop (South Lake Union) or snooter-doots.com
