Locavore: Hip wallets elevate duct-tape style
By Bree Coven Brown / Special to Sunday Market
The duct-tape wallet has been around for awhile, but it’s never been this cool.
jDUCT’s Duct Tape Wallets are handmade in Portland with fun and funny designs such as an Etch A Sketch, a squirrel drinking a beer and a hipster buck.
There are also nods to pop-culture icons such as Walter White from “Breaking Bad” and a Super Mario Bros. mushroom.
The smooth, slim wallets have reinforced seams to prevent sticky edges. A large bill pocket, four card slots and two “behind the scenes” pockets hold your necessities.
Artist Jen Woffinden’s duct-tape covered flasks are also available.
