The new U.S. text messaging champion is — no surprise — a 13-year-old girl. AFP has an amusing story of the contest, which took place Saturday in New York.
The winner, Morgan Pozgar of Claysburg, Pa., practiced by sending 8,000 text messages a month to her friends. That’s about 265 a day. (She has an all-you-can-text phone package, luckily)
Pozgar won in the final round by correctly texting the word “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.”
