Annual investment forum calls for entries

The WSA is accepting applications for its spring investment forum.

The 15th annual 2008 WSA Investment Forum is an all-day event on April 24 at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center.

The event is typically pretty lively. Companies make short presentation in front of a panel of VCs, who then pick apart the business and vote in front of an audience on how well everyone did. Shy presenters need not apply!

Participating VC firms include: Frazier Technology Ventures, JMI Equity, OVP Venture Partners, Polaris Venture Partners, Rally Capital, Trinity Ventures and Voyager Capital.

The WSA is looking for 30 presenting companies in the areas of Clean Tech, Digital Media, Web Services/Software and Wireless technology from the Northwest region. New this year is a track for early-stage/growth companies through a partnership with Alliance of Angels.

There’s no fee to apply, however, if you are choosen you must pay $500 if you are a WSA member or $750 for non-members.
