New Microsoft BlueTrack mouse works on carpet

msftmouse.jpgBut will it still make mold grow on my mousepad like my optical mouse?

Microsoft is selling a new wireless mouse that uses a technology called BlueTrack that allows a mouse to be used on carpet, wood, granite countertops, maybe even Pergo for those who make mouse-function a priority when remodeling their home.

The company also claims the mouse is resistant to dust and dirt, so you can use it while remodeling as well.

The mouse communicates with your computer via a USB transmitter and will be sold for $39.95 beginning in August.
