Talking Microsoft-Yahoo on KUOW’s Weekday

I will be talking about the Microsoft-Yahoo deal on KUOW’s Weekday show with Steve Scher at 10 a.m. today.

If you’re in the Seattle area, tune into the NPR affiliate’s broadcast at 94.9 FM. You can listen to it online here.

The live call-in numbers are 206-543-KUOW and 800-289-KUOW.

Scher will be reviewing the week’s news with myself and three other reporters: Seattle Times editorial writer Lynne Varner, The Stranger’s writer Eli Sanders and Cliff Mass, atmospheric scientists at the University of Washington.

Update 2:23 p.m.: Here is the archive broadcast. We talked Microsoft-Yahoo for the first 20 minutes, in which I compared Google to Starbucks, Yahoo to Tullys and Microsoft to Caffe Vita.
