NEW YORK — If you’re a Windows Phone owner and eager to see what Mango will bring, here are two more in-depth videos on the features for the phone’s contacts and Bing.
Microsoft did not let reporters and analysts touch the phones or try out the software first hand, so it’s difficult to evaluate how well the software runs.
As IDC analyst Will Stofega said afterward, “Without seeing it and feeling it yourself, it’s just a great demo.”
Microsoft said the update will become available in the fall.
This first video, with Microsoft senior product manager Derek Snyder, shows how the new contact features will work: integration with Facebook and Twitter and grouping contacts.

This next video, also with Snyder, shows how the Bing features will work: a single screen of info on restaurants and places called “Quick Cards”; a local search called “Local Scout”; and mall maps.
