Video: Bono talks Bill Gates out of joining U2

U2 is playing Saturday night at Qwest Field in Seattle. Since Bono and Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates are both in Seattle at the same time, here is some video of the two together.

This video was shown at the Consumer Electronics Show in 2008 envisioning Gates’ last day at Microsoft after he said he would leave his job as chief software architect. One of the jokes in the video is that Gates wants to join U2 because he got a high score on the video game “Guitar Hero” and Bono has to talk him out of it.

Bono shows up at the 2:53 minute mark in this video below, which also features Pres. Barack Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, director Steven Spielberg, rapper Jay-Z, actor George Clooney and more. Enjoy.

If anyone spies Gates at the concert, tweet me @sharonpianchan. Even better, tweet me a photo of Gates at the concert.
