Welcome to Microsoft Pri0: That's Microspeak for top priority, and that's the news and observations you'll find here from Seattle Times technology reporter Matt Day.

Janet Tu takes over Microsoft Pri0 Monday

Friday is my final day on the Microsoft Pri0 blog.

If you’re feeling nostalgic, please peruse the past week of blog posts that I’ve done looking back and answering your questions: Why is Microsoft’s stock flat? What were the most exciting moments of Microsoft news? What were the biggest disasters? And am I going to work for Microsoft?

Please join me in welcoming our excellent new Microsoft reporter Janet Tu. She has covered religion for The Seattle Times and here is where you can read her most recent stories. I consider Janet a friend and a longtime mentor and I will be the first to read her stories and blog posts on Windows 8, the first Nokia Windows Phone, the Skype acquisition and all things cloud.

This is how I have peacefully transferred power to Janet. (Video courtesy of ABC.)
