Quick hands-on report on Microsoft’s Windows Mango phone

TechCrunch has a quick (very quick) hands-on take on the first Mango phones to hit the market.

Mango, the codename to the major update to Windows Phone 7, adds about 500 new features to the platform. While other carriers haven’t specified when they will be releasing new handsets carrying Mango, Fujitsu is releasing to market in Japan today its first Mango handsets.

The TechCrunch writer says <a href="his first impression was that the phone itself felt light and thin but that the user interface felt great.

In other Mango news, an attendee at Microsoft Tech Ed in New Zealand says that Microsoft speakers at the event have said Mango will support front-facing cameras for video calls.
