Microsoft sponsoring Lotus F1 Team

Microsoft is teaming up with the Lotus F1 Team for a three-year partnership.

Microsoft Dynamics’ branding will feature prominently on the Lotus F1 Team E20s and the drivers’ overalls, according to the Lotus F1 Team news release. The branding will make its 2012 race debut along with the team at the season-opening Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne on March 18.

Dynamics is Microsoft’s collection of business applications such as those dealing with enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management. As part of the partnership, Dynamics will be used at Lotus F1 Team’s base in Enstone, England.
