Interesting debate going on about whether Windows Phone — or any smartphone platform, really — incites passion in its user.
James Kendrick at ZDNet penned a piece Thursday saying Windows Phone is a solid smartphone platform but that it just doesn’t excite him.
Matthew Miller, also at ZDNet, gives a rebuttal, saying he’s passionate about Windows Phone, describing it as “elegant, efficient, stable, personable, and a simple joy to use.”
And then there’s Chris Leckness at GottaBe Mobile who says his current carrier — Verizon — doesn’t carry a “quality Windows Phone. “I am passionate, but you guys are making it hard,” he says.
(Speaking of Windows Phone: Microsoft is set to officially launch Windows Phone in China by later this month. Invitations have gone out for a March 21 event in Beijing, according to TechCrunch.)
