Microsoft opening its first international store in Toronto? London coming soon?

Microsoft is opening a retail store at the Yorkdale Shopping Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, according to The Toronto Star.

If so, it could become the first Microsoft Store located outside of the U.S.

A Microsoft spokeswoman declined to comment or confirm the Star story.

Microsoft currently has 19 retail stores open, with seven more scheduled to open soon. They’re part of a total of 75 stores that the company intends to have open by the next few years.

[Update 7:26 a.m.: And it looks like London will have a Microsoft Store too, in 2013, at least according to reports in The Verge and Neowin.]
