Microsoft and Honeywell reach patent agreement over Android and Chrome

Another day, another patent development. Today, Microsoft and Honeywell announced a patent licensing agreement covering Honeywell’s devices running Android and Chrome. Honeywell will pay Microsoft royalties, though specific terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The move is tied to the introduction of Honeywell’s first enterprise digital assistant computing device, which runs on Android. (Microsoft contends that certain features of Android infringe on its patents.)
