AT&T’s mobile data-sharing plan launches Aug. 23

AT&T, following on the heels of Verizon, had announced a data-sharing plan in which customers can share their allotted data usage on up to 10 devices, one of which must be a smartphone.

Today, AT&T set Aug. 23 as the date when that plan — called Mobile Share — will be available.

AT&T has set up a Mobile Share planner tool at www.att.com/mobileshare to help customers estimate current usage and choose plans.
