Netflix “Just for Kids” now on Xbox 360

Netflix “Just for Kids” — a section of the Netflix app designed for kids 12 and younger — is now available on Xbox 360.

The “Just for Kids” section features children’s TV shows and movies browsable by favorite characters and kid-friendly genre names such as “superheroes,” “dinosaurs” and “robots.” It is available on the Xbox 360 to those with both an Xbox Live Gold subscription and a Netflix subscription.

Netflix “Just for Kids” is already available on Netflix’s website, and devices including Nintendo Wii, Apple TV and PS3.

Seems a smart move for Netflix, as a recent study of a group of San Francisco moms found that at least some of them “use it as an $8-a-month babysitting service,” in the words of an AllThingsD article.
