Microsoft’s U.S. search share at nearly 16 percent

comScore’s August search engine rankings are out and it shows Microsoft’s sites — primarily Bing — as holding 15.9 percent of U.S. searches.

Microsoft’s search partner, Yahoo, had 12.8 percent. Google was still dominant with 66.4 percent.

Because comScore made some changes to its methodology, it did not compare its August figures with its July figures.
