AT&T to offer Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 in November

Lumia920.pngAT&T announced today that it’s added Nokia’s Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 Windows Phone to its fall lineup.

AT&T said the phones would be available in November but did not specify a date. The company also did not disclose prices.

The Lumia 920 and 820 will be running Windows Phone 8, the newest version of Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform. Microsoft unveiled some of the features of Windows Phone 8 in June. But it has not yet disclosed all the features nor said when Windows Phone 8 devices will be on store shelves, though the expectation is that there will be a Windows Phone 8 launch event on Oct. 29.

Both Microsoft and Nokia are struggling to gain traction for Windows Phone, which so far has only a minuscule share of the U.S. and worldwide market.

The Lumia 920 will be exclusive to AT&T, the company said in its news release.
