Internet Explorer 10 preview coming to Windows 7 in November

Yes, all the buzz has been about the upcoming launch of Windows 8.

But Windows 7 is still the operating system running on most of the world’s PCs. And soon, it will get a new Internet Explorer browser.

Microsoft announced today that it will release a preview version of IE10 on Windows 7 in mid-November, with “final availability to follow as we collect developer and customer feedback,” according to an official blog post.

The company boasts of IE10’s performance gains, including having faster page load times and better support for Web apps.
