Bing Elections tracks social media chatter, candidates’ Klout scores, more

Microsoft is hoping that when you seek election coverage today, that Bing Elections 2012 will be among the places you turn to.

The Bing Elections site gathers election news and data, including a slider tool that lets you adjust how much redness or blueness you want to read about in the coverage.

The site also includes updated polls for national, state and local races; a tool to help you find your nearest polling place; snapshots and trend analyses of how candidates and issues are faring in the social media universe (more info on how Bing came up with its social media analyses here); and, of course, the latest results on election day.

Not to be left out is MIcrosoft’s Xbox Live, which will feature election-night broadcasts from NBC News and Comedy Central, as well as interactive polling.
