HTC Windows Phone 8X available for preorder on Verizon starting Friday

HTC8X.jpgVerizon announced that it’s making HTC’s Windows Phone 8X — as well as the Nokia Lumia 822 — available for pre-order starting Friday at 10 p.m. PT.

Verizon is pricing the HTC 8X, which will be available by Thanksgiving, at $199.99 with a two-year contract.

It’s selling the Lumia 822, also to be available by Thanksgiving, for $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and with a two-year contract.

Verizon will also be carrying, exclusively, the Samsung Ativ Odyssey Windows Phone, which will be available by the end of the year.

Friday, by the way, just happens to be the day that AT&T starts selling its Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 (which AT&T opened for preorders on Wednesday).
